Disney's EPCOT

The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. This park was originally meant to be Walt Disney's dream of an ideal place to live and work. But the idea evolved into the amazing Epcot theme park.

EPCOT Spaceship Earth

Some say that Epcot really means Every Person Comes Out Tired. They may well be right! It is a huge theme park and you are going to do a lot of walking here. You really need 2 days to see everything the park has to offer.

Epcot is divided into two distinct areas: Future World and World Showcase.

In Future World the theme is past and future scientific achievements. But done with Disney's own very special magic. Here you will find places to learn about future technology - but the emphasis really is on fun. You will find two of Disney's most popular rides here: Test Track and Soarin'. Want to experience what it feels like to be launched into space? Then try Mission Space, an innovative simulator ride.

The kids will love it here too. Ride inside Spaceship Earth. Travel on The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Go and Turtle Talk with Crush. These and numerous other attractions will keep you busy and you may just learn a little too.

World Showcase is spread around the 40 acre lagoon. Experience the food, culture, shopping and entertainment of 12 different countries. Stroll around Canada, The United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Japan, The United States, Germany, Italy, China, Norway and Mexico. A wonderful way to experience the sights and sounds of these diverse countries.

Make sure that you stay for Epcot Illuminations Reflections of Earth, the nightly fireworks, laser and pyrotechnics show. This impressive show really is one not to be missed.

Disney Hollywood Studios

Disney Water Parks

Disney World has 2 excellent water parks - Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.

Want to travel 13 stories downwards at up to 60mph? Then Disney's Blizzard Beach is the place for you. Huge water slides, family raft rides, a lazy river going all the way around the park. Or relax in the wave pool at Meltaway Bay. There is something for everyone here.

Disney Typhoon Lagoon

Or perhaps you prefer Typhoon Lagoon. There aren't that many places where you can surf inland but Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is one of them! The surf pool is a big attraction at this fun filled water park. If surfing is not your thing then why not relax on the lazy river. Or swim in the shark reef (not as scary as it sounds). Or try out one of the many water slides.
